“Pools” Collection

I find inspiration in the small moments. Moments of life, that are there for a second then gone. But while fleeting, they are so much more. The “Pools” collection is inspired by vintage photographs from the 1960s and 70s. The subject matter centers around summertime, neighborhood pools and motel pools, polka-dotted with colorful patio umbrellas. They are small snapshots recreated on a larger scale, turning brief seconds into lasting memories. Each painting has a story to tell, transporting the viewer back to a familiar place in time as if they were there taking the photo.
